A SERIOUS PROCEDURE TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY

Posted by:

These are the words of my Learned Friend and fellow MS recoverer. He has been one of the leading voices in our striving to get the word out about HSCT and to let people know the pitfalls and life altering aspects of the procedure. I felt I would be remiss if I didn’t add this, as my Blog seems to be getting read by more people of late.

The major thing about HSCT is IT IS A REAL MEDICAL PROCEDURE. You ...

Good Day Folks,

Today was my second Rituximab Infusion. I had no problem with the infusion itself. My energy level afterwards was nil however. The wife, who took me and brought me home, was worried because I was tired and slept a lot.

I felt fine otherwise. I feel fine now 12hrs later. But ...

Letter from NIH

I have received a letter from NIH that is totally confusing for me. I have been researching MS for only 3 years now, non-stop. I know I am not the most intelligent person in the world. Good Morning My Friends,

I am going to the same group of Sports Therapist as I had before my procedure. I am talking with them about a new program and starting off probably once a week instead of the three times a week I did before.

I will also be changing the focus of the strengthening areas. Now that I have Put MS into a permanent state of Remission. I refuse, at this time to say cured. For the next few months I will up ...

Rebuilding Begins

Okay, I’ve waited and relaxed. Time starts tomorrow. I tried peddling the bike and could barely do it! The Total Gym, is the Total Gym, but I have to build my cardio. I haven’t gone this long since I was diagnosed!

I had these broken down and put away so I wouldn’t feel the need to sneak on ...
